Step 1: Insertion of sample

250 µl of whole blood are filled into a centrifuge tube. The filled tube is placed in the rack on the sample tray and a pipette tip is placed in the depression provided for this purpose. During the analysis, the SPOTCHEM™ EZ VET centrifuges the sample and then automatically pipettes the plasma thus obtained onto the reagent strip. 

Step 2: Insertion of strips

The reagent strips are inserted in the depressions on the sample tray provided for this purpose. The analysis is started by pushing a single button.
Any of seven different multiparametric strips (multistrips) can be used for the analysis, supplemented by up to 3 different single parameter strips. It is therefore possible either to measure up to 9 parameters at a time or to measure just one parameter.
