Acculan® miniLight and handy - but still powerful! |
The Acculan® mini is a light and handy, battery powered motor system. The light weight (785 g only) and the small dimensions (10cm length) of this ergonomically shaped tool make for fatigue-free work and at the same time provide a perfect view of the working tool and the operation site. The powerful device provides up to 65 watts and a rotational speed of 16 000 1 / minute - this ensures the use of the Acculan® mini for small animal osteosynthesis.
A special and durable accumulator concept has been developed for the use in battery powered motor units. The system control electronics are completely integrated in the battery which is not autoclaved. The electronic components are thus spared the stress of the autoclaving process, which enhances a long life and reliability. With the help of the special sterile funnel, the nonsterile batteries can be sterilely changed during an ongoing surgery.
Operation modes of the Acculan® mini include: drill mode clockwise and counterclockwise.
