Territory Manager

The Territory Manager is responsible for selling the scil animal care full line of clinical chemistry, hematology, endoscopy, and surgical and monitoring systems to the Veterinary hospital. scil animal care is a global veterinary market leader looking for career minded individuals.

This position requires the ability to learn and retain technical product information and to be able to communicate this knowledge to Veterinarians, Technicians, and Purchasing Agents.

The Territory Manager responsibilities are as follows:

  • Managing an account base of Veterinary clinics and hospitals throughout a geographic area with overnight travel.
  • Adhering to standard operating procedures and implementation of aggressive and creative strategies.
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly and yearly growth attainment and sales objective goals.
  • Create and implement necessary targeting, planning and goal setting in order to exceed territory goals.
  • Timely submission and proper adherence to corporate policies on travel, expense reports and NSM reports.
  • Attendance at National and Regional Trade shows.

This position requires the following qualifications:

  • Two to three years prior experience in outside capital equipment sales and tactical call planning. Medical or Veterinary sales a plus.
  • The ability to travel within assigned territory.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills and computer competency.
  • The ability to understand and successful sell technical products.
  • Experience selling in an aggressive outside sales environment.
  • Self motivated and highly driven with ability to work independently from a home office.
  • Valid Drivers license without moving violations required.
  • While sales experience in medical, veterinary or capital equipment is preferred, candidates with strong backgrounds in other types of sales will be given equal consideration and should apply.

scil animal care offers a competitive salary package and generous uncapped commissions. We also offer generous automobile allowance, laptop computer, home office expenses, medical/dental insurance and investment plan.
