Field Service Engineer
Gurnee, IL

Responsible for coordination and installation of Digital Imaging Equipment and providing technical support to imaging customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site installation of Digital Radiography (DR) and Computed Radiography (CR) systems in the Veterinary industry
• Stage Acquisition and PACS servers for DR & CR systems
• Provide Technical support of diagnostic imaging systems
• Install x-ray systems (Generator and Tables)
• Research technical trends and information for diagnostic digital imaging
• Act as a technical resource for sales team
• Test and repair electronic and digital equipment as needed
• Train employees and customers on imaging product line
• Write necessary technical documentation and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of electronics/technology program and MSCE or equivalent IT Certification
• Knowledge and experience of Digital Radiography equipment and PACS software
• Computer Networking knowledge and experience as well as System Error Analysis
• X-Ray system knowledge and experience
• Problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing
• Strong problem solving skills with a persistent attitude towards achieving a high level of customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems; SQL, Microsoft Server, and Storage Solutions
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to travel at least 65% of the time
• Position is office based (Gurnee office) when not traveling
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to work well with customers
